Selling scarcity? Make the unboxing experience match the product. 🎁✨

In this week’s video, Andrew Smith explores how workflow automation can turn a limited-run garment into a premium experience—from custom accessories and personalized letters to unique packaging designs. Learn how to execute this seamlessly with automation. Watch now!

Transcript

I posted last week about uniquely serializing a garment to create a limited run, high value, high margin product. It’s a strategy that’s long been used by the premium art print marketplace. Now, the other half of that strategy is to marry that product with a personalized unboxing experience. If you’ve got a good automation strategy, you can make that happen in a really easy way. If you have automation running in your factory, a single barcode scan of the order can drive unique accessorizing of that order driven by your business rules. It could, two, pull up unique instructions about wrapping and materials to be used. Three, it could even generate a personalized letter printed on the fly, also driven by your rules. And fourthly, you could even do custom print on the packaging using laser marking or over printing, depending on the print devices that you have. The bottom line is that automating a unique unboxing experience is something that can be really easily achieved. And if you’d like to know how we can help you make something like that happen using the ZenSmart platform, reach out, we’d love to talk with you about it.
